I create heart-centered learning spaces where compassionate, honest dialogue elicits the truth of who we are. From that inner place of truth, new pathways can emerge in service of our visions and longings for our lives and our livelihoods.
I work alongside clinicians, coaches, and mindfulness teachers seeking to deepen presence, resilience, and competencies, as well as dedicated contemplative practitioners committed to inner work and personal growth.

My Story
Like many of us, I’ve known the weight of stress, fear, and self-doubt. Over time, I’ve discovered how practices of mindfulness and compassion can transform my pain into healing, resilience, empowerment, and a deeper sense of wholeness. My journey has included healing complex developmental trauma, navigating attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), sustaining decades of meditation and yoga practice, and flourishing in my personal roles as a wife, mother, daughter, and friend. These experiences shape how I meet others — with empathy, honesty, and presence.
My Professional and Academic Path
Today I am a mindfulness-based scholar-practitioner, educator, and coach with 25 years of experience in personal and professional development. In 2025, I completed a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies degree with an emphasis in Contemplative Science, where I designed and implemented original mindfulness-oriented curricula and research on contemplative self-inquiry. My current projects include publishing The Kind Shift—a Substack community and learning hub—developing book proposals, and preparing a peer-reviewed manuscript.
Before stepping fully into this work, I spent ten years in Silicon Valley as a public relations and communications specialist. Later, I founded The CareGiving Coach to support families and professionals through end-of-life caregiving, creating the Care with Ease® program and training professionals in leadership and coaching skills. In 2004, I became a professional coach and in 2014 I became a personal well-being teacher/facilitator. For more than two decades, I have guided individuals as they navigated life and career challenges teaching them how to embody awareness, clarity, resilience, and growth.
Training Credentials (chronologically)
In 2023, I became a Certified Applied Compassion Ambassador/Educator through the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education (CCARE) at Stanford University. In 2019, I achieved my current standing as an International Coach Federation Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and I renew that credential through 40 hours of continuing coach education every 3 years. In 2017, I became a Qualified Teacher of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), trained through the Center for Mindfulness Professional Training Institute at University of California San Diego. In 2015, I became a Trained Teacher of Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), certified by the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion and taught by the MSC co-founders Kristin Neff and Christopher Germer. In 2014, I became a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator, based on Brené Brown’s research-based shame resilience curriculum, qualified to facilitate her curricula: Daring Greatly, Gifts of Imperfection, and Rising Strong.
Together, these credentials and my ongoing connections with the professional organizations that offer them reflect my commitment to delivering evidence-based, ethically rigorous, and compassion-centered instruction and guidance.
A Personal Note
I believe deeply in our capacity as human beings to grow and evolve. Simultaneously, and equally as deeply, I believe that we are each perfect just as we are; that this experience of being human means we are flawed and imperfect, yet beautiful and amazing. Each of us is infinitely capable of creating peace and well-being in our lives – for the benefit of ourselves, others, and the planet.
My work is grounded in mindful and compassionate presence and a commitment to walking alongside others with integrity and care. It is my honor to support clinicians, coaches, mindfulness teachers, and contemplative practitioners as they reconnect with their truth and step more fully into the lives they long to live and the ways they wish to serve others.
Wherever you are on your journey, I will assist you in discovering your inner wisdom and your authentic path to achieving your goals. My approach can help you discover your inner truth, trust, and motivation.
Like Mahatma Gandhi, one of my favorite peacemakers, said, “Happiness is when what you think, say, and do are in harmony.”
I will help you align who you are with what you think, say, and do - mindfully... compassionately... authentically... and courageously.
