Arrive early to receive supportive guidance and answers to questions about deepening your practice or meeting your daily life with mindfulness and compassion.
During our time together you will:
- receive instruction on how to sit and meditate effectively.
- learn how mindfulness can influence your perspectives and way of being.
- be guided through meditation focused on a theme for the week, each meditation will end with a period of silence.
All are welcome - beginners and seasoned meditators alike.
Please bring your own meditation cushion if you have one. Chairs and bolsters are available.
Marnee's teachings are influenced by the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program created by Jon Kabat-Zinn, the Mindful Self-Compassion program created by Kristin Neff, PhD and Christopher Germer, PhD, and her life's practice and study of mindfulness teachings from various traditions.
